- Do you only build and repair property in Leitrim?
Not at all. 'Word of mouth' is a great thing and my company has often been recommended to people living here in the
mid-west. In fact in December we completed a commercial building and apartments in Galway.
- We have never built a house before and are anxious?
I'll gladly come along and meet you for a 'no strings attached' chat about the system from buying a plot to seeking planning
permission.
- How long does it take to build a three-bedroomed house?
There is no absolute answer. There are several factors including the size of the property, special features and the time of year when building gets underway. The weather plays an important role in this part of the country, especially during the early stages when digging the footings and
laying the foundations.
- Will you design my house?
No, but I know several qualified people who can. Of course I can help with basic information but this most certainly a field for experts able to convert your dreams into a welcoming home.
- Do you use qualified tradesmen?
It was many years ago that I learnt the importance of taking on qualified
tradesmen - people who are experts in their own field. My own staff do the actual building and general joinery, but I have
regular tradesmen - roofer, plasterer, window fitter, electrician, plumber, decorator, tiler and specialist big machinery operators. Professionals are well-organised and efficient.
